Please note, as per the recruitment timeline for posts commencing in September 2026, participating trainers are now available to view. Noting that DVT and TVT rural practices are available from 29th May. All other trainer prospectuses will be available from Monday, 1st June, including LDFT trainer prospectuses.

As an applicant, you are responsible for contacting trainers to arrange meetings and interviews. To enable this, you must:

Contact Trainers to discuss the post(s) they offer
Please note, preferencing on Oriel will open on at 10am Friday, 12th of June.
Direct appointments, preferencing and visitation will close on Friday 19th June 2026 at 10 am.
The trainer prospectus includes details of the trainer, practice, their arrangements for training and details of how to contact them. Under the Search tab on the left you can search by :
Region
left-handed suitability
direct appointments.
trainer's name (if this is known to you).
By clicking on the Map tab you will be able to see the location of all our trainers in Scotland.
By clicking on a trainer's name in the search list or the icons on the map you will be able to view the trainer's prospectus and post information, along with contact details. Any recent updates such as open days will be visible on the Newsfeed tab.
To clear your search results, click on the blue Home hyperlink at the top of the page.
